Faus Technologies
FAUS laminate flooring is equipped with a number of technologies technologies that make them stand out both for their design and their resistance:
DESIGN
Realfeel
It most faithfully reproduces the texture and visual appearance of real ceramic, stone and wood. Touch the FAUS floor and feel the grain of the wood, the roughness of the stone, the texture of the ceramic on your fingertips.
REALFEEL brings realism and depth to textures, thanks to perfect reproduction and synchrony. Enjoy real sensations with all the advantages of laminate flooring.
Microbevel
This technology, exclusive to FAUS, faithfully reproduces the micro-bevels that form in the planks that make up a slat. It is the concept of "plank within a plank", each plank of FAUS flooring perfectly highlights each of the slats. In this way, the floor presents the appearance of the original product, highlighting each plank or tile.
Interplank
Thanks to this technology, the design is not interrupted when passing from one slat to another, achieving a genuine and uninterrupted final result. You will always achieve the effect of continuity, regardless of how you install it. This way you don't have to worry about which slats match which ones.
Longstrip continuity
Slats of more than 3 meters. Imagine a laminate floor that looks like long planks of wood. With Longstrip, we obtain lengths of up to 3 meters with an uninterrupted design, which is continued along 3 slats. You will always achieve the effect of continuity, regardless of how you install it. This way you don't have to worry about which slats match which ones.
Multidirection
FAUS stone laminates are pure realism thanks to MULTIDIRECTION technology. The design extends in all four longitudinal and transverse directions.
The result is a totally genuine design pattern, with a random appearance, in which the joints are not rectilinear. As long as you install at 50%, you are guaranteed to have both longitudinal and transverse continuity. This way you don't have to worry about which slats match which ones.
Multiwidth
The extra wide format of FAUS flooring (WidePlank) allows the integration of 3 different plank widths (20, 12 and 8 cm) in a single 40 cm wide piece of laminate.
Thanks to this ingenious innovation, there is no need for cumbersome calculations on how many planks of each width would be required for installation, as the irregular planking effect is incorporated within each plank of product and highlighted with a fine and elegant microbevel.
In addition, costly waste and leftovers from such installations with other floor coverings are also eliminated.
Ultra matt
The innovative Ultra Matt technology gives laminate flooring a surface treatment that distinguishes it from conventional flooring, establishing a new category in the world of decorative products. They are manufactured in intense anti-fingerprint matte that avoids footprints.
Bevel
Our laminate flooring features a 4V bevel on all 4 sides of the plank, giving it a realistic and authentic look that simulates genuine wood planks. This finish enhances the aesthetic appearance, adding depth and realism to the overall floor pattern.
PROTECTION
Jointguard
Even if all the above protections were not sufficient, the joints formed between the slats are fully protected thanks to JOINTGUARD® technology. This technology extends the surface protection of the slat (overlay) also to the edges, avoiding its deterioration due to friction and extending the life of the floor.
Loc snap
The tongue and groove joints of the slats have a CLIC anchorage with a HERMETIC system that leaves the joint perfectly sealed.
Aqua-0
AQUA-0® technology with a water-resistant surface gives FAUS laminate flooring a water resistance of up to 72 hours.
- Thanks to the Aqua-0® protected surface, FAUS laminate flooring with Jointguard® technology guarantees a surface water resistance of 48 hours.
- For designs with Interplank® technology, surface water resistance is 24 hours.
- If you wish to add an additional 24 hours of protection against water, it is mandatory to use in the installation: Clicseal joint sealant applied in the anchoring system (longitudinal and transversal) of each plank and flexible silicone around the entire perimeter of the installation.
Xtreme
XTREME technology, developed by FAUS, is specially designed for kitchens and bathrooms, spaces that, due to higher humidity levels, require specific performance. With XTREME technology, we give the product extra strength. This technology affects two aspects of the product:
- The joints incorporate a water-repellent product on their surface to minimize the effect of leaks or possible spills.
- Polyurethane resins have been added to the substrate during the manufacturing process, ensuring twice the dimensional stability of any other water-repellent laminate floor and up to three times more than a standard laminate floor.
