The inauguration of Scaena Vitae, a modernist-style exhibition space created by the young Brazilian architect Gabriela Schinzel, took place on November 15. The presentation event was attended by a large group of architects and interior designers.
Scaena Vitae is based on the concept of light and reflects a critical stance in relation to the current historical-cultural context in which we live, as we continue to face the challenges of the pandemic. The name of the space, which comes from Latin, means “The stage of life”. Through the play with light, Gabriela has designed an aesthetic-poetic space that achieves expressiveness and communication. It invites visitors to experience sensorially and values the intimate relationship between poetic, technical and, above all, user aspects. The space is divided into two environments: one with minimal lighting and another where the light shines and gives splendor to the scene, with an intermediate transition zone with a low ceiling that disorients and prepares the user to experience other lights.
Among the elements that decorate both environments of Scaena Vitae, the Faus laminate floors stand out. The Faus Industry Tiles collection offers modern laminate flooring with a cement effect, ideal for creating rooms with an industrial atmosphere and a totally natural look. These floors also feature technologies that make them suitable for all types of spaces and offer high durability.
